Mixed Migration Seminar

The International Seminar on Mixed Migration in Southeast and East Asia was an event co-organized by UN-ACT and Mahidol University on 21-22 June 2017. It involved presentations and discussions of 28 papers specifically prepared for the seminar across 7 thematic sessions. The sessions covered various dimensions of mixed migration, namely ‘flows and patterns’, ‘concepts, attitudes and policies’, ‘asylum and human trafficking’, ‘categories and the work of CSOs’, ‘gender and sex work’, ‘states and categorizations’, as well as ‘children and youth’.
